The Inrico 3 Pin Mobile PoC Radio Power Cable is designed for TM-7 Plus 2023 mobile PoC radios. While the cable is designed for easy connection to vehicles, it can also be retrofitted for connecting to building wall sockets. See below for this cables wiring methods.
Wiring Methods
The Inrico 3 Pin TM-7Plus Power Cable is designed to connect the TM-7 Plus to your vehicle or wall socket using any of the methods below. Choose the method that best suits your power management needs.
Method 1: Ignition Controlled Power
- Red Wire (BAT+): Connect to the positive pole of the power supply
- Black Wire (GND-): Connect to the ground or negative pole of the power supply
- Yellow Wire (ACC): Connect to the ignition (cigarette lighter) of the vehicle.
Method 1 Implications
- Device powers on with the ignition
- Prevents battery drain when the vehicle is off
- Ideal for devices that should only run when the vehicle is in use.
Method 2: Continuous Power
- Red Wire (BAT+): Connect to the positive pole of the power supply
- Yellow Wire (ACC): Connect to the positive pole of the power supply
- Black Wire (GND-): Connect to the ground or negative pole of the power supply.
Method 2 Implications
- Device is always powered
- Suitable for devices that need constant power
- Requires manual on/off control to prevent battery drain
Method 3: Simplified Continuous Power
- Red Wire (BAT+): Connect to the positive pole of the power supply
- Black Wire (GND-): Connect to the ground or negative pole of the power supply
- Yellow Wire (ACC): Leave disconnected.
Method 3 Implications
- Continuous power without ignition control
- Simplified wiring setup
- Suitable for devices requiring constant power, but monitor for battery drain.
