Installation Guide
- Begin by taking off the antenna. Unscrew the four bolts from the antenna bracket attached to the mirror arm while leaving the bracket in place. Make sure to keep these bolts handy as they will be needed to reinstall the original antenna bracket later.
- Now, position the wedge labeled WD for the driver’s side, aligning the widest slot on the right side towards the mirror. If you are working on the passenger’s side, use the wedge marked WP and orient the widest slot to the left, facing the mirror.
- Place the mounting plate on top of the wedge with the antenna tab facing the front of the truck. Then, in the included hardware kit, locate the two shorter and two longer bolts along with the four washers. Put a washer on each bolt. Proceed to install the longer bolt through the front, passing it through both the plate and the wedge. Simultaneously, install the shorter bolt on the back side.
- To secure everything in place, tighten all four bolts evenly. Now, you can proceed to install your new antenna and the coaxial cable.
