MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) is the use of multiple antennas (transmitters) and multiple antennas (receivers) on wireless devices for improved performance. When two antennas (transmitters) and two or more antennas (receivers) are used. Two simultaneous data streams can be sent and multiple antennas (receivers) acquire the multiple data streams can double the data rate. Multiple antennas can improve the distances between the wireless devices.
